After PM’s 'vocal for local' call, Agra shoe industry turns to khadi footwear

Instead of leather or synthetic material, footwear with khadi as the raw material will hit shelves soon, according to manufacturers in the city who said the decision was taken after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s push for promotion of local products.
